Incident Statistics for September 2023

Few incidents, but lots of activities.

In the past month, we were alerted a total of seven times. It is worth noting that September is the second least active month in terms of incidents to date. Furthermore, the majority of these incidents were false alarms triggered by a fire alarm system or minor technical assistance.

Our First Responders also made a full commitment this month with 33 incidents.

At the beginning of the month, we participated in the holiday program organized by the City of Nittenau. Children aged six to twelve had the opportunity to showcase their skills as future 'fire chiefs' at various stations.

As is the tradition every year on the second weekend of September, we hosted our Italian Evening. Alongside the residents of Nittenau, we enjoyed Italian delicacies and the ambiance of Italy.

Towards the end of the month, from September 23rd to October 1st, the Fire Safety Week took place under the motto 'Doing What Really Matters? Priceless.' We were also involved in an exercise during this event.

Our junior firefighters are also well-prepared for emergencies, as they conducted a 24-hour exercise in September. During this exercise, the young participants tackled a variety of scenarios with enthusiasm and a focus on learning.
