Operational Statistics July 2023

July 2023 - An Incredible Feat of Strength!

In total, the firefighting personnel of the Nittenau City Fire Department were called to fires, technical assistance, and other incidents 16 times. It is worth mentioning that the focus of the operations in July 2023 was on firefighting, rather than the usual emphasis on technical assistance.

Due to the prolonged dry spell and persistent high temperatures, numerous vegetation fires occurred. As a result, we were also called to neighboring districts of Regensburg and Cham with our tanker firefighting vehicle.

The 6666th operation for the First Responder Unit - since its founding in 2001 - demonstrates the crucial service this team provides to the population in and around Nittenau. In July, the team responded on average once a day, totaling 31 incidents.

It is particularly heartening that we were able to congratulate two newly blessed families on behalf of the association for the births. We presented our female and male colleagues with a "baby tree" and conveyed our best wishes.

We need not worry about the future of the fire department's next generation! Especially since our recently established Children's Fire Brigade held its first exercise in July.

We also maintained contact with numerous colleagues from neighboring fire departments by participating in various events and celebrations.
